About
Our Organization
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a student organization for young men and women involved in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education from grades 7 through 12.
Through Family and Consumer Sciences, students have been making differences in their families, careers, and communities since 1945. We've done this by addressing social issues and important work. FCCLA helps students develop leadership and learn skills for life.

Mission
Our mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
Our mission is represented all over our organization. Our motto, "Toward New Horizons," represents not only the moving forward of students as they prepare for life after high school, but also the moving forward of communities, no matter how big or small. Our tagline, "The Ultimate Leadership Experience," speaks for itself. There is no better place to develop leadership skills than FCCLA. Our mission is accomplished through our hardworking students here at Minco and surrounding chapters. For these purposes, we highly recommend you join FCCLA.
